Our Members

The Phillies are considered a "combination" fire company. What this means is that we maintain some paid personnel. In our case, we employee three full-time drivers to man the station 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Volunteer drivers, on occasion, fill in for the full-time drivers for vacation and sick leave coverage. All the firefighters at the station are 100% volunteer and an asset to the community.

In this day and age, volunteer firefighters go through extensive training courses at the Montgomery County Fire Academy to increase their knowledge in handling emergency situations. The training is diversified and the Phillies are committed to producing firefighters that can handle any emergency situation. This includes training in firefighting, rescue, hazardous materials, and emergency medical procedures.
