Mission Statement - This fire company web site is for the sole purpose of communicating to firefighters and to the general public. We do this to educate people about the dangers that exist in every day life and to make the world a safer place to live. We also use this web site to allow the general public to find out what is going on in our fire company and to find out what we are all about......making the world a safer place to live. This web site is not for political purposes, to publicly embarrass/insult another entity, or to strain working relationships with other emergency service organizations. It should be obvious that violating this simple concept would only serve to increase tension, to reduce efficiency, and to cause additional problems during the most critical times. When this sort of situation occurs, the only people that lose are the people that we serve, the residents of the Pottstown area. The Phillies Fire Company web site will always take the position of being "the better person" in order to build relationships with other emergency service organizations rather than destroying them.
