Fireworks

Fireworks are very dangerous and they are illegal in Pottstown. Every year thousands of people are injured or even killed while using legal and illegal fireworks. Children are usually the first people to be injured while being near backyard fireworks displays. People have lost hands, fingers, and even their eye sight from fireworks accidents. So play it safe everybody and leave the fireworks to the professionals.

Fireworks displays happen all summer long at fairs, carnivals, and at the 4th of July festivities in Pottstown's Memorial Park. Displays set off by the professionals are always free to watch and are generally safe. Check your local newspaper for a show going on near you.
